Tips on How to Make Your Own Honey Mask

However, it is pretty understandable that one might not want to spend that much on a simple honey facial mask. We’ve come up with some simple tricks through which you can prepare your own honey facial mask.

1. Honey and almond mask

The process of making a honey and almond mask is very simple, and you can do it even if you’re preparing a facial mask for the first time. All you would have to do is prepare a simple mask with honey and almond oil.

Ingredients required:

  • 1 tablespoon of Honey
  • ½ tablespoon of sweet almond oil
  • Warm water

What you need to do:

After gathering the ingredients, grab a small dish and mix 1 tablespoon of honey with a ½ tablespoon of sweet almond oil and make a thick enough solution for a mask. Apply the mask to your face, avoiding the sensitive areas like eyelids and nostrils. Wait for 40-45 minutes, and then rinse it off with some warm water. You’ll surely see the difference after the wash.

2. Hydrating Honey Mask

Hydration is essential for our body, and our face is no different. To make this mask, you would need to mix a bunch of ingredients like honey avocado and yogurt.

Ingredients required:

  • 1 teaspoon of Honey
  • 1 teaspoon of Mashed Avocado
  • 1 Teaspoon of plain Fat Yogurt

What you need to do:

Making of this honey mask is as simple as counting from 1 to 10! All you need to do is mix 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of mashed avocado and a teaspoon of plain, whole fat yogurt together, and your mask is ready to be applied. Apply the mask over your face, avoiding the sensitive areas like eyelids, leave it for 25-30 minutes, and then wash it off with some water. Usage of this mask twice a week would hydrate your skin and would bring a fresh and radiant glow to your face.


In addition to honey’s skin-friendly attributes, the yogurt contains lactic acid which naturally reduces fine lines and helps dissolve dead skin from your face. Avocado, on the other hand, consists of Vitamin C and Vitamin E which fights free radicals that would otherwise damage the skin.

3. Honey exfoliating mask

Exfoliating your skin is essential, as it not only increases the flow of blood circulation in your skin but also removes the dry/dead skin cells from your face.

Ingredients required:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 2 Tablespoon of finely-ground almonds
  • ¼ of Mashed Avocado

What you need to do:

Making this mask is pretty easy. All you need to do is grab a bowl and mix 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of finely ground almonds and ¼ of a mashed avocado, and your mask would be ready in no time. Apply the mask on your face, leave it on for approximately 30 minutes and rinse it off with some warm water. You will see how clean and light your skin feels after the wash.


In addition to the antimicrobial, acne busting qualities of honey, the grounded almonds would nourish the deepest layer of your skin. In addition to that, the mashed avocado would remove all the free radicals and make your skin free of any impurity whatsoever.
